Who We Are

We design and manufacture all of our products with your pet and the planet in mind.

Chewtopia is a trading name for Riber Products Ltd. which is a family-owned and run business based in Clay Cross, Derbyshire.

The family has over 40 years of combined experience in engineering and manufacturing and came together in November 2011 to establish Riber Products Ltd. Since then, they have launched several brands ranging from outdoor catering equipment (Tasty Trotter), Watersports equipment (Canoe and Kayak Direct) and disc golf courses and sporting goods (Disc Golf UK). They also undertake a wide variety of bespoke mouldings for customers; usually, items of our own design made for a specific customer.

Their speciality is anything that can be made plastic with a keen eye to add design features to and develop unique selling points for the customers.

Recently, there has been a drive to increase the use of recycled materials in their products including some post-consumer materials. These plastics can be anything from reprocessed nappy production trimmings in PP; to the scrap produced during the manufacture of surgical PVC products. Using these recycled materials, we are reducing the amount of industrial waste that would otherwise be sent to landfills. This benefits everyone by contributing to reducing the overall carbon footprint. All Chewtopia packaging is printed on a sustainably sourced card and is fully recyclable.

At Chewtopia we believe that the best way to keep your dog happy is to nurture their natural instincts through play. Interacting with your dog by playing games and using dog toys, you can not only expend their energy but also keep them mentally stimulated. The more satisfied and stimulated your dog feels the happier they will be.

If you have a dog that generally destroys every single toy that is given to them, then you are probably the owner of a persistent chewer. In this case, you would always try to go for a super durable toy and a toy larger than average to last longer. At Chewtopia we make our toys extra durable to ensure that they last as long as possible. However, it is worth remembering there is no such thing as an indestructible dog toy.

Before and after play, toys should be inspected. This consists of cleaning off any dirt or excess on the toy and looking for cracks, separations and missing pieces. We advise that if a product has started to become worn or damaged it should be discontinued and replaced immediately. It is your responsibility to take care of your dog’s safety and wellbeing. If you think that your dog may have ingested or swallowed a toy fragment, then seek immediate veterinary help.
